Liberals running the San Francisco Chronicle have gotten so extreme they recently wrote a story asking if it would be better for residents to barricade themselves in their homes instead of being angry that felons were rampantly commit crime in their neighborhoods.
“Residents and city leaders are searching for answers: should they tolerate burglaries as a part of city living, and focus on barricading homes,” San Francisco Chronicle reportedly stated. “
The editorial board at the San Francisco’s paper of record apparently has not gotten the memo that everyday people have rejected the radicalized woke agenda being pushed by progressives. Virginia emerged as a test-case for failed left-wing policies, with upstart Republican Glenn Youngkin winning the gubernatorial race as Democrats suffered stinging losses across the country. But California’s out-of-touch liberals continue to put defund the police measures and criminals ahead of hard-working families.
According to crime statistics, San Francisco is suffering a year-over-year rise in homicides, assault, human trafficking, arson, and theft, with overall crime spiking compared to 2020. The response by San Francisco district attorney Chesa Boudin involves fewer prosecutions and lowered jail time recommendations. For example, shoplifting up to $950 is no longer considered a crime Mr. Boudin’s office is willing to prosecute.
“We made an intentional decision to prioritize crimes involving violence, injury to human beings, and use of weapons,” Chesa Boudin said, calling for an end to punishing criminals one of his “difficult choices.”
That’s largely why Chesa Boudin faces a mandatory recall election in June.
But Boudin’s pro-crime position as the city’s top prosecutor fits seamlessly with its radical media outlet. Major retailers such as Walgreens have been forced to close their stores because thieves brazenly walk in, load up bags with goods and walk out without paying. Getting away with broad-daylight crime has encouraged thieves to burglarize the homes of honest residents.
The social media response to the failed leadership of Attorney General Boudin and the San Francisco Chronicle’s suggestion about barricading has been nothing short of a tweet-storm:
- “Is the home invasion really an ‘invasion’ or just an impromptu visit?”
- “I found this so laughable I had to screenshot it for memory. I’m in shock that just tolerating home invasions is being considered by some as a legitimate policy choice.”
- “After constant break-ins, my condo building put up a steel gate. Now this: The building I left in SF recently got 24h guards and cameras after the HOA found that unevictable meth dealers rented a home and refused an offer of $15k to leave after being $30k behind on their rent. A lady has left her home in the building to live in an AirBnB, feeling unsafe.”
- “Often these burglars break into a garage/basement of a SFH, and thereby can easily access unlocked rooms in or near families sleeping. A burglar can’t be trusted to be decent, or a chance encounter could lead to very tragic events. Home invasions should not be tolerated at all.”
- “Should the residents of SF tolerate burglaries and barricade their homes are you joking? For the privilege of living in one of the most expensive cities in the country the residents should spend more money on reinforcing their homes and praying some less protected home gets it?”
- “Nice! New SF slogan ‘Come for the views, the hills, and stick around long enough to get burglarized by someone who will do it again next week.’”
- “When we’ve gotten to the point where people are seriously asking whether we should tolerate burglaries then maybe it’s time to pack it in.”
The notion of tolerating burglaries and not prosecuting crime may seem surreal to much of the country. But good people in San Francisco are suffering under the yolk of insane policies crafted by liberals who want to defund the police and let loose violent offenders because — deep down — they hate America. The fake news media is entirely on board.
Californicators had a chance to end this B/S with recall of No good Newsome, they chose to keep the SCUMBAG. This is what they get! The Commie Californicators chose to defund the police. This is what they get. The HONEST tax paying citizens can fix it, if they want, they chose to lay down like sheep instead. Police Officers & Sheriffs Deputies who refuse the JAB under the protections of the U.S. Constitution 1st, 4th, 5th & 6th amendments are being terminated for exercising their rights, The Californicator citizens can put a STOP to it if they chose, but they lay down with the sheep. Other Republican voters were told they had voted already, upon arriving at the polls to vote. So, as a native Californian who has witnessed DECADES

Well, we could take all the money we save by defunding the police, and purchase firearms and training for every law-abiding, sane citizen of the U.S. That should take care of at least part of the problem with crime. After all, Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution states that Congress has the power “to provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining the Militia…”. We should demand that they make that power a responsibility, and make our nation safer. Since the Judicial Branch has effectively dropped the ball by not prosecuting known lawbreakers, and it is unlikely the Executive Branch will pick it up, it should be the responsibility of the Legislative Branch, our alleged representatives, to take steps to keep the People safe.
San Fran burned to the ground once. It’s overdue.
