The communist oppressors who dictate every aspect of the Chinese people’s lives recently came to the conclusion they cannot turn 1.4 billon people into atheists. In a drastic policy change, Chinese President Xi Jinping pivoted away from telling school-aged children God does not exist. Instead, Pres. Xi rolled out a new curriculum, this one designed to make Chinese children “hate God.”
“Before starting school, I told my child about God’s creation, and he believed it. But after being taught at school, my child is like a different person,” a Chinese mother said anonymously for fear of retribution. “In atheistic China, these pure and innocent children have been taught to hate God.”
One report coming out of China indicated that a student found his parents’ booklet about Christianity and became afraid. He explained to his parents that a teacher chastised him and his peers that “Christianity is a Xie Jiao,” which loosely translates to “evil cult” or “heretical religions.” A public school textbook called “Morality and Society” directly identifies Christianity as an evil cult and teaches that having faith in Jesus Christ runs contrary to Chinese culture.
China’s so-called educators also employ scare tactics to interfere with youths’ ability to connect with God and take Jesus into their hearts.
“My teacher says that Christianity is a Xie Jiao,” one pupil reportedly said on condition of anonymity. “If you believe in it, you will leave home and not take care of me. You might set yourself on fire, too.”
The atheist regime recently began using Kindergarten children in a series of anti-Christian propaganda videos. In the government-driven pieces, young children chant anti-Christian slogans that translate to: “Believe in science and keep away from Xie Jiao. Starting with children, we’re the best.”
Pres. Xi — who effectively made himself emperor with a lifetime leadership appointment — tried to expand his power over low-income families by coercing them to remove crosses, likenesses of Christ, and other religious images from their homes. The communist dictator directed Christians to replace religious icons with his likeness in their homes so as to worship him and their country instead. Those who did not comply reportedly lost housing, food, access to medical treatment, and jobs. Chairman Xi basically issued an ultimatum that working-families would either bend the knee to his ban on religion or perish.
“As crosses are being removed throughout the country, those who refuse to cooperate will be accused of opposing the Communist Party,” one Christian said without giving a name. “We are pressured to give up our faith, but we will persevere.”
The regime went on an anti-Christian rampage in recent years. Communist party atheists forced churches to shut down and pressured ministers to deliver only communist-approved sermons. Communist party officials installed surveillance cameras in houses of worship, and they monitor activities to identify people who state that God is greater than the party and President Xi. China ranks 17th on the Open Doors 2021 World Watch List of the most oppressive and dangerous countries to practice Christianity. Seems like they should be moved up to #1, no?
