President Joe Biden plans to bring nearly 10 times as many refugees into the U.S. in the next fiscal year according to the State Department.
In May, Biden raised the Trump-era number from 15,000 refugees to 62,500. For the next fiscal year, starting Oct. 1, Biden has set the limit at 125,000.
Top refugees countries of origin will include Africa with 40,00 and South Asia with 35,000.
The refugee plan offers a much more aggressive resettlement approach than the previous administration. In addition, the resettlement numbers do not include the vast number of illegal immigrants crossing the nation’s southern border.
For the past two months, more than 200,000 people per month have illegally crossed into the country via our southern border. More than 1.3 million have crossed in 2021 thus far, with more than two million estimated by the end of the year.
Illegal immigration has already exceeded the population total of many U.S. states, angering both Democrat and Republican voters.
The border became an especially difficult situation last weekend. More than 15,000 mostly Haitian migrants crossed the border at Del Rio, Texas, leading to a mass gathering of immigrants under the international bridge.
In addition, 37,000 Afghan refugees have already come to America in the past month. The administration continues to plan for tens of thousands more, with up to nearly 100,000 total.
From an outsider’s perspective, it would appear the Biden administration is working to turn America into a third world, refugee nation. In Del Rio, a tent city has popped up where food is scarce, violence is rampant, and justice is fleeting. The number of immigrants exceeds the capacity of the nation to handle. This includes the strain on taxpayers, the additional housing and food needs, increased job needs, as well as strains on education as many new children arrive and will enter the public education system.
There are also tremendous security risks to consider. While many think only of the Afghan refugees, both the open border and the large number of immigrants from Asia and Africa increase the risk of a radicalized individual or groups who seek to cause harm within the U.S.
There is a growing likelihood that the next terrorist attack will be someone who walks across the southern border and commits an act of terror in a high target area that will kill many innocent Americans.
But just as immigration ramps up to unprecedented numbers, the nation’s military appears to struggle as well. The recent Afghanistan exit is a key example. Despite the most powerful military in the world, the U.S. left behind billions of dollars of equipment to the Taliban, left Americans behind and couldn’t even accurately target a drone strike.
We’re struggling across multiple fronts with Biden in leadership, but no area is more visible than the number of immigrants entering the nation in 2021. Maybe that’s just the plan. Invite people in, make them citizens and import the vote for a future generation of Democrats.
This proves Biden is creating the immigration problem and should be impeached for doing so.
