An Afghan refugee who was resettled by the Biden administration in Montana has been arrested for allegedly raping a teenager. The case is one some fear could be repeated as Biden’s unvetted evacuees move into American communities.
Zabihullah Muhmand, 19, had been resettled in Montana after the Biden regime had evacuated him from Afghanistan. He was not qualified for a Special Immigrant Visa, but was resettled as a parolee.
The unnamed 18-year-old victim met Mohmand and two other men at a bar and agreed to go to another party. Instead, they ended up in a hotel room where the woman was sexually assaulted.
Montana Republican Sen. Steve Daines is furious, as are the people of his state and across the nation. He said in a statement:
“The fallout and consequences from President Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan continue. While I support assisting our fully-vetted Afghan allies who served alongside our armed forces, President Biden has failed to provide answers as to who has come into the country or if they have been fully vetted according to what’s required by law. I’ve spoken to Governor Gianforte about this situation, and I stand with him in calling on President Biden to stop all Afghan resettlements to Montana until we get answers.”
That sounds more like it. The senator’s plan should expand to all 50 states. No more resettlements until we can be assured that the Biden regime has fully vetted everyone they brought into this country following their disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Montana Governor Greg Gianforte has called for the immediate halt by the Biden regime to resettle Afghans in his state. Gianforte says that while he welcomes “fully vetted Afghan allies to Montana, this situation and others across the country raise serious concerns about whether the Biden administration is meeting its obligations to fully vet Afghans prior to resettlement.”
“I’m calling on President Biden to immediately halt resettlements to Montana until federal agencies provide me with adequate assurance that Afghans coming to Montana are fully-vetted in accordance with federal law,” he said.
Sure, there were some Afghans who helped the U.S. military and deserve assistance. Mohmand was not one of them.
There certainly were not 100,000-plus. And those 100,000-plus Afghans evacuated were certainly not all vetted before departure in the final days of August.
Instead, our nation now has approximately 53,000 Afghans living on eight military bases nationwide, with more on the way. Congress has already approved funding that would allow Biden to resettle 95,000 Afghans by the end of the year.
And be sure he’s not resettling them next to his house! Oh no, he’s putting them in YOUR neighborhood. You are the one that has to deal with the cultural differences, not him or his family.
Montana Rep. Matt Rosendale called out the Biden administration with this statement: “These unvetted Afghans do not share our culture and our values, and as this horrific incident shows, they represent a serious risk to our communities. We cannot allow this administration to continue to jeopardize the safety of our communities and the security of our nation in the name of empathy. I urge the Biden Administration to immediately halt the resettlement of Afghan nationals across our nation and begin to remove Afghan evacuees that have been resettled from the United States.”
It’s not like we’re not already overwhelmed with more than 1.5 million illegal immigrants crossing the southern border under Biden. The last thing we need are nearly 100,000 more unvetted people of unknown backgrounds released into our communities.
This isn’t about human rights; it’s about doing what is right and protecting the people of America. We can’t have this type of crime happen again. But under Biden, it’s almost expected to become normal. Unless Americans wake up and do something about it, we have unlikely seen the last of Afghan-related crimes across the nation.
